The Department of World Languages at the University of South Florida is hosting the 24th SCFLLF on the USF campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. For over 30 years, the SCFLLF has served as a
venue for
scholarly presentations focusing on language, linguistics, literature, culture, philosophy, cultural history, and film of the non-English-speaking world.
The 2020 SCFLLF keynote speaker will be
Dr.
Barbara Mennel, the Rothman Chair and Director of the
Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere at the University of Florida, who will present a talk entitled “Women at Work in European Cinema.”
