The Department of World Languages at Western Carolina University is proud to host the SCFLLF at the Biltmore Park instructional site in Asheville, North Carolina. For almost 40 years, the SCFLLF has served as a venue for scholarly presentations focusing on language, linguistics, literature, culture, philosophy, cultural history, and film of the non-English-speaking world.

The 2023 SCFLLF keynote speaker will be Dr. Richard Langston , Professor of German at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
